HR WorkSpace will soon be here

Plans are in place to introduce a new HR WorkSpace system for school and academy customers purchasing HR and Payroll services through Educator Solutions. 

HR WorkSpace will allow submission of information on new appointments, leavers, contract changes and changes to personal details, through a web-based system.  Immediately on submission of a notification, the customer will receive an acknowledgement followed by status updates on each work item as HR and Payroll process the notification, allowing a visible audit trail.

The build of HR WorkSpace is almost complete.  User acceptance testing has been undertaken and we are now preparing to go live with a group of school customers as part of a short pilot.  The intention is for full roll out to commence early in September 2016.

The implementation of the new system will bring significant benefits. It will allow notifications to be entered directly into the system and will reduce ensure notifications are delivered reliably and quickly to HR, allow improved timescales for issuing contract documentation and reduce error rates.  More information will be issued following the pilot and in advance of full launch.

The new system is being developed in partnership with international company, HotDocs, who have a reputation for delivery high quality document automation software. We were pleased to receive an award at the HotDocs national convention on 15 June 2016 for innovation, reflecting our current and developing use of HotDocs software including HR WorkSpace.
