A unique opportunity has arisen to attend the Cambridge University, Anglia Ruskin University and the Bell Foundation’s EAL seminar during which the researchers will present key findings from a recently completed research project which focuses on the experience of newly-arrived EAL students in secondary schools in the East of England.

The study consists of a longitudinal analysis of the social, linguistic and educational experiences of EAL students at two case study schools as well as of a survey EAL provision in secondary schools in the region.

By the end of the seminar attendess will:

  • Will be able to establish collaborative networks between schools in the Eastern region.

  •

Share good practice regarding secondary EAL students.

The seminar will take place on 27th June at 4.00 – 6.30  at Norwich Professional Development Centre. Delegates will also have a chance to engage in a professional dialogue and exchange good practice around the EAL provision, teaching and learning with other professionals.
